Bruises from face paint!

Sun Feb 07, 2010 1:31 am by Judy

As a special treat for my students, I let them pick a design and paint them on or close to their birthday. The kids are always so excited.

Last week, I painted a little girl (It was one of Shannon's eye designs) and she absolutely loved it! I told her to wash it off before she went to bed and all was OK..... or so I thought.

Monday morning, she came in and I noticed she had bruising around her eyes. Obviously being concerned that something happened, I asked what happened.. she said that she loved her face painting so much that she left it on for 2 days (mom went away for the weekend and she was left with dad) and she had to scrub really really hard to get the design off....thus the bruising!

Story of my life....... students missing my directions again!!! Rolling Eyes lol!
