One other problem. I need another painter. Correction; I need an EXPERIENCED painter. I already have a painter that works with me, but this is a pretty big event ...

This was supposed to be my Safari Themed party, so I had all these animal designs... I did 4 of them. I painted over 30 people in two hours, and I did 4 animal faces. And they were all on children under the age of 3. So, I am not posting those, because... well... let's just say my models were not too cooperative. But here are some that turned out pretty well.

I have been painting on and off for around a year now and have joined here to broaden my horizons.

I have the same user name on a UK based face painting forum, of which I have been a member for a few years now.

I suspect I will be relatively 'quiet' while I am finding my way around.

Should I offend at any time, please let me know. I would rather be told 20 times about the same thing than never to be told! Im thick skinned so do not be shy

Hello to everyone from a new member in Las Vegas, NV! I'm really looking forward to being part of this forum!

I took up face painting about 2 years ago as a way to make a little extra money by making myself available to a local entertainment company when they send my husband out for a job as a magician or balloon artist. We still do some work for them, but are doing more and more on our own, under the business name of B&B_Entertainment. We expanded into the world of temporary tattoos ...

I'm on the cusp of really pushing my business (which I call Daydream Designs). I drive a school bus for my "I'm a responsible, grown up" job and so far face painting has been my "I'm too young to be old" way of making some extra money.
Greetings! I'm brand spanking new to face painting. After reading these boards for a month, I decided to purchase some paint and brushes. I think this forum community is outstanding - fun, informative, and encouraging. Since receiving my first paints, I've spent several evenings painting and practicing on my arm and legs. I'm so horrible at this that it's comical! I'm also having so much fun that's becoming addicting. My goal is to be able to volunteer at my childrens school and at the ...

I have to say I AM IMPRESSED! It looks great and it's sturdy... It holds up to 300 pounds so I don't have to put a sign up saying "children only"

Great Find!!!!! I am so geeked. AND it wasn't supposed to be here until Tuesday, so now I get to use it on my job today.

It's also not that heavy, so I can carry it, my sign and supplies all at once. Did I mention I only paid $60 for it free shipping too...

I got it from Hayneedle.com for those of you looking for a NICE chair!

Being a newcomer to the face painting world, I'm certainly not an expert but more than likely it is the newbies who are purchasing these kind of DVDs so it's just my take on it.

Positives:

- the demo of the brush strokes was nice and I'm glad that they repeated each stroke 3 times. Sometimes, the angle of the camera kept the viewer from seeing the brush tip ...

Hi all! I asked in the body glitter tat how-to Cat posted, but I want to be sure to put it out where people can see.

I was able to do the body glitter. I opted for a simple-one color design (mostly because I was running out of studio time). I used a very fine red glitter. Keep in mind, before this, I'd never done a glitter tat (except for trying one out on myself, and another on my friend prior to the shoot). So basically, I painted on an area with the glue/paint mixture, then put glitter ...

At first my daughter did not want a scary mask, and would only let me paint her arm. So I did a monster arm, and after the arm she enjoyed it so much she wanted the face.

I said this before about the tiger paws, but kids REALLY enjoy the arms/hands, and they are quick and easy to do. After doing the tiger one I had been waiting for a chance to try a monster claw in conjunction with monster face.

Sooooo, sometimes my husband likes to play football video games, when he does this he lets me sit behind him and practice on his back (ladies, if your man will let you do this you will have no need for practice heads and sheets).

Well, last night i got some practice work in, lol. Here are some pics of what i did, I am so proud of my jelly fish, it turned out nice, i think.
