It is called TAG! You've just been Challenged.

Rules: Once you have been challenged to make a face design(cheek, half or full face), you have to post a pics of your creation, after which you have to TAG someone else specifically on the forum to make a new design... You may not tag anyone who has just been tagged, we should tag others out there too... there is a minimum interval of three TAGs between ...

Okay, so it's not that it's a weird business to be in here, but the majority of people have no idea that people even do this kind of art!

Most of the images I've seen look too complicated for an event such as this. Anyone have any adult-friendly designs that'll look great under the blacklight and possible ...

Hello everyone...!!

I have a lousy apprentice. She embarrased me, and can't stand her anymore. She just doesn't want to learn the "basics" I spent a year practicing before doing my first gig and she wants to compete with me already...I don't know how to get rid of her. She doesn't practice at all, just throws herself to copy my designs and wants to go with me to every single gig..and wants people to pay her my rate..

Yesterday I had a HUGE day event and needed some help, I have ask ...

So I volunteered to face paint at our local farmer's market. I did it totally for free - I really wanted to practise on some warm bodies, and this seemed like a good way to do it.
when it rains... I feel so awful for the clients!!!

I might be too soft, but I feel so VERY badly when it rains. I just cannot do it - I cannot paint someone knowing the design will get rained on (I think this coincides with my post of painting around the mouth). I will do my very best to switch to glitter tattoos in these cases, but I have not yet run across the chance, since I only just started the glitter tattoos!

What do you more seasoned arteests do when it rains? And how do you feel about it? Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Designs for glasses

Hello all!

I continue to see such wonderful & awesome designs, yet I have one stumbling block. I wear glasses. I love to paint myself for a gig, but lots of my designs get lost behind my glasses (even though they're fairly modest). Do any of you have any fun designs that you enjoy with peeps that wear glasses & still show off great with their glasses still on? thanks!!

I wanted to start a thread where anyone can post a pic and have it analyzed by the rest of us. If you dont want the hard truth about your work, dont post a pic! This is a way for all of us to improve our work.

I will post the first pics!

Here is a pic of one of my butterflys, yes it is nice but my wings are not even and it seems to be lacking in wow, sooo what can I do to fix this?

Here is a pic I took over the weekend, the boy wanted his cancer sign in red white and blue, so it ...

Last week I took a body painting class at Z 's house in Ct led by Pam Trent and Deidre MacDonald. We reviewed shading and clothing structure and various techniques and then over the course of two days painted models. They are both fabulous instructors and great people. I am very new to body painting but I did want to share these with you because I have only been painting 2 years and I started exactly where everyone else did trying to figure out paints and brushes and the best set up, etc. I am ...
