Did you survive Oct.?

Wow I barely did! Not this weekend but the last was my first off from the mid of Sep. I'm sorry I havent been on in so long, I have missed you all so much. I thought of you all and wished I had a few of you at the last birthday party I did OMGosh It was a 40th birthday party with 101 Arabian nights theme costume party. I was booked for 6:30 to 8:30..... I didnt get home until 12:00am After 4 hours my line still was LONG and strong and I had to send out a teem to go find the birthday girl to shut it down lol! Just trying to tare down took forever cus everyone needed to come tell me how much they loved my work and need another card!!!! ugg I'm about to cap out and reach the $ limit in my county and have to get a business license i know I know but believe me I even made the county and local government office send me paper work saying I didnt need one and even took them to a tax guy to confirm it. lol.

Another up date in my little world. I am oafishly enrolled for and gained a grant that will cover my hole cores at my local cosmetology school! I just have to find a way to get throw 9 months of no Saturdays off. But I think it will be a well worth wile growing pain in my little business.
So I hope all forgive my absence. I cant wait to go throw and catch up on what everyone is up to. Best wishes

That is great about the grant and getting into the school, Toni - what a blessing! And wow, I know the party must have been fabulous, for your pocketbook as well as your confidence. Did you take any pictures? Sounds like so much fun! We'll be thinking about you while you are off learning about stuff. :-)

oh my goodness I wish I HAD! but I barely had time to grab a drink of water let alone my camera.. I brought it but like always it sat under the table I'm hoping to get some from the lady soon. But I mostly just did glamor eyes,a few butterfly's and a bunch of curly mustaches /sole patch/unabrows!
And thank you for the kind wishes. I will start school in Jan.

SAY, KID! Next time you have a gig like that, give me a call and I will come just to take photo's of you and your work... nothing like your sister's photo work however ,,, but you know I would love to watch you work for the first part and being able to help you take photo's of your work would be an extra for me.

Glad to hear about your classes... we will have to get together and talk about it... well, your hubby and son should come along to, I don't get to see them much either. Maybe one of these days we can meet at the Pizza shop or some such and visit...

I had a slammin' halloween night at the haunted fairgrounds this year. It was alot of fun but I know what you mean about not being able to take pics .
