some of my latest work

Post by Perry Noia on Thu Mar 29, 2012 9:12 pm

I just thought I'd share some of my latest work with you guys. A lot of the time Snazaroo gets a bad name for not being opaque enough or bright enough or whatever. Working with it is different, but I'm proud of the level of brightness I am getting from my Snazaroo now and I feel like my painting has taken a big leap recently. So, these are some of my recent paintings that I wanted to share.

Which yellow is that on Wolverine, Perry? Really nice and bright! Looks brighter than the regular yellow to me in the photo.

I will have to check my container to see if it is the same. I thought there was only the two shades - pastel and regular. Looks really great!

Love your clean lines and simplicity as always! I am loving designs right now that use the natural eye as the animals eye, I may have to try a version of your rabbit, I already do a mouse like that, making it a rabbit should be easy, might not even need a body! Love Wolverine too, you guys give the snaz haters a little to talk about! that yellow is awesome!

Like Perry has demonstrated... once you "get" Snaz it works great. I do all my line work on kids with Snaz black and it is perfectly fine for that - just a matter of practise and consistency of the paint.

Wow, that is great coverage.

I never really had problems with my snaz coverage. I just had trouble with it melting all of the time. Kind of wanting to try it out again.

It does melt when it gets too hot and humid BUT I can and do keep using it even when it gets like that, you just use a lot less water with it when it gets squishy like that. I love that it doesn't smell like anything and I don't have skin reactions to it like I have with some other paints.

Love the vibrancy you've managed to get with the snaz, I guess it just takes lots of practice. Awesome Wolverine mask and cute bunny Smile
