Lids on paint? I deep mine off so it has time to "dry out" sort of in between. So that bacteria (may just be in my mind and is only my opinion) does not grow on it. Then again...maybe I read it somewhere?

If you are talking the lids on the paints... yes, leave them off TO DRY OUT, once dry, put them back on to protect the product.

If you have them in a palette that has its own lid, then you can leave the lids off the individual paints, and use the palette lid to cover them.

While working, leave them off. UNLESS you are using water-based creams like Fardel or FWW... those you probably should set the lids back on top to prevent them drying out while you work.

Yeah - what Shannon said.
I put all my lids back on my Tags as they aren't in a pallet but all my paradise lives without their lids - just close the pallets and off i go.... it also heaps to dissipate the smell of paradise which I love but people can be sensitive to strong smells whether lovely or not.

I take the lids off before I head to a gig and leave the lids at home. That saves time when I get to the gig and also when I pack up (close the lid to my case and go vs. taking time to replace every lid). When I get home, I let the paints dry and then replace the lid because, I too, like to preserve the tropical smell of my Paradise paints!

Also, the medium and large sizes of Wolfe Paints (45 and 90g I think) can screw onto one another and create a stack, so I have my white and black and Wolfe True Rainbow Cake screwed together in a stack with just one lid so I can just drop it in my bag and only have 1 lid to worry about aside from my Paradise laptop style case.
