purchases, homemade splits & a little bunny

Post by Coral3 on Mon Apr 02, 2012 11:56 pm

I love my postie, today he brought me some new paint - wasn't that thoughtful of him? So some new 50g two-colour pearls to play with, an orange/yellow for tigers and a 'fairy floss' (which I'm not sure quite what I'll use for just yet.) Plus I've been happily cutting up my 32g single colours to make some basic splits:

So far I'm loving the grey/white and lilac/white for little easter bunnies, but my fave is the ivory/mid-brown split...makes such a nice caramel bunny colour Very Happy Here's a quick one - not perfect painting, but it shows the colour okay Wink

Gotta love new paint!! bounce

thanks for sharing those cute bunnies..

I use my fairy floss for full face butterflies and masks..really looks great...
i just got my 2nd fairy floss cake..i use it all the time...and I really suggest it as it washes off eaisly and looks good with black or white line work.

^ gorgeous butterfly! I imagine it gives a completely different look too by just putting the colours around the other way (purple towards the eyes). Am looking forward to playing with mine some more. Very Happy So far I had a go at doing a kind of feathery wing mask (like Lisa Joy Young does for her pegasus tutorial) - I'm loving it for that. Also thought I might try a rainbow tiger perhaps at some stage...
