3D Leaf One Stroke?

Post by pinkundies on Mon Apr 30, 2012 8:56 am

Does anyone have this! It's the Pearl One Stroke Metina carries. Would love to see how it looks in action! I need to update my leaf/snake cake.

I have the regular 3D Leaf. I would love to see a pic of the pearl version too =).

I LOVELOVELOVE the regular one though...makes great leaves and dragons and snakes and all sorts of QUICK stuff.

If you want to see a pic of the regular one I can arrange that after I get back from taking my son to Tae Kwon Do.

I wonder if Suzy has it...
I thought I saw her mention kicking herself for not getting it on her last order and wanting to place another order for it.

I hope somebody has it. It looks divine. Can't wait to see a swatch.

I absolutely LOVE the Blush rainbow cake and the 1-stroke cake. It is just so darn pretty. Does anyone know which genius to thank for that clever arrangement of colours?

Original idea came from a butterfly that gorgessfaces was using as her avatar a while back. I fell in love with the color scheme and requested it when Metina was asking for input on custom cakes.

Well oops, time got away from me but here is the promised Blush 1-stroke swatch.

Honestly, I tried a few times to get a photo with good representation of the actual colours but this is the closest I came. It is so pretty in person, but doesn't seem to photograph well from my phone Laughing The colours graduate nicely while staying separate, though they look blended in the photo. It might be the shimmer that throws the photo off and makes it look more blended than it really is.
Anyways, I promise it is truly lovely and very girly.
This was photographed outside on a very bright sunny day, in the shade, no flash.

Not a really good picture but gives you an idea. I really like it for leaves, for bigger designs (snake) I had to reload more often.

In action! Sorry, don't have close up. The leaves on the rose and swirls I painted using 3D pearl leaf.
