essential split cake colors?

Post by aprilmoonflower on Tue Sep 22, 2009 10:31 pm

I want to make some split cakes but am agonizing over possibilities! What would you suggest I start out with and will be most versatile? (using Snaz) I already have a couple of rainbow cakes..

I am also about to make some little cakes for one stroke. I found it helpful to look up Arty Brush cakes since they show a brush stroke demo. Much rather make my own though! Wink

Check on Silly Farm as they have the paint colors and the samples all done for you. Be careful about mixing brands only cause they each seem to react to heat differently.

thanks SO much. this at least gives me something to start with! I was going nuts trying to pick what I thought would be most versatile.

Amen to Metina. I love Snaz for it's Safety but here in Florida - ICK! It all MELTS. Wolfe seems to stay put and dry better!

I'm sure Snaz is easier to split so, I've VOWED to keep my palettes on Ice! LOL

For the Super hot months, I'll only be using Wolfe...it's the only thing I found that will stay relatively well.
