My new chairs!!!

My in-laws ran into these fantastic chairs today.... OMG! At a garage sale! They picked them up for me (I said yes, pls) And I can't wait to use them. I mean LOOK at the LEOPARD PRINT! I think they will stand out nicely. I have also been dreaming of painting standing up for over a year now. I've read on here that many of you do that and I am excited to try. I know it might tire my legs out more but I think it would be easier to reach all sides of the face. I have a hard time on the left side as well (paintee's right) so maybe this will help.



So excited! FINALLY getting started on my setup! Can't wait to use come August when I have my tentative first event (outside of the company I currently contract out with).

$10 each!!! I paid them back of course. Don't know how that will work out with taxes since there is no receipt but gotta love yard sales! I did notice the tags on the fabric have Pier 1 on them so I assume these were pretty pricey brand new.

Those are SO cool..You will love standing up too..I have bought swivel stools and love the spin em round factor, but I just LOVE those chairs..ENJOY!

Just write out a receipt with the date, amount and description of the item. That's what I do when there's no receipt for some reason. Haven't had any problem yet.

Love those! There's one question though... The chair does seem wider to me than the bottom. Won't they tip over if some kid's a bit wiggly?

Oh those are so totally cool!! I have been wanting to get the tall director chair but have to save up for that. Right now i am using a retro-look kitchen stool but hate hauling the heavy thing every weekend to my booth.

They are a bit wobbly. I have to make sure to be there to supervise them getting in but once they are sitting it's fine. I was practicing on my nephew last night with no problems. I went to practice again today and was too lazy to haul my chair out so asked him to sit on a deck chair - he was like "where's your other chair? It's cool! I want that one!"

I just found one of those Ikea tall wooden chairs at a local thrift store for only $6!
