Anyone else doing National Novel Writing Month this year?

It's me again!

I'm planning to do NaNoWriMo (national novel writing month) this year. The goal is to write 50,000 words of a novel between November 1st and 30th. Last year was my first time and I managed to do it and it felt great! Though my novel is still unfinished and in terrible need of editing... anway, I'm really excited about this year and was wondering if any other face painters on the forum are also writers I'm going to be busy but last year I was working two jobs and still did it, so I'm hoping it'll be easier this time...

I write non-fiction (the stuff that gets published) mostly now. But, I was writing category romance novels many years ago... not published. Never actually submitted... started my first one when I was 14... still have all the drafts I wrote for everything too... I was even a members of the Romance Writers of America... Go figure.

I am up to my neck writing my next book at the moment and since we have a deadline no time to work on a novel... maybe next year.

I'm thinking about it. I have several books I've started, but I have yet to master creating characters that don't make me sick by the time I get to 3,000 words... It's a sign of my gradually increasing neurosis.

I have tried to do NaNoWriMo a couple years back. I am a non fiction web writer though and it's just not my thing at all. I may do the blogorimo (or whatever it's called) though!

Or maybe I SHOULD do NanoWrimo and just spin out some content for ebooks?!? hmmm.......it doesn't have to be fiction right?

Well, I've been totally gone all month... but I'm back now, sort of. XD I finished NaNoWriMo! 50,269 words of fiction in 29 days. I feel happy. If exhausted...

I don't know how much I'll be around this month. I've got one gig this weekend at our town's annual 'Holidays on the Square' event, but nothing else. I've volunteered to do the makeup for a Christmas play, just because I love doing it and everyone there is volunteer. Fun times. ^__^
