Good Afternoon from drizzly England!

Post by SamSparkle on Tue Oct 23, 2012 10:42 am

I feel a bit cheeky posting a new topic basically promoting myself! However, it's nice to know a bit more about each other!
Basically my name is Sam and I own my own small face painting business that has been successfully growing for about three years now.
I'm looking to eventually start face painting full time and have been looking for a place like this in the cyber world to get all the advice, hints and tips I can!
I'm self taught and haven't seen the need for a course in the immediate future. (not because I think I'm past improvement but because all the ones near me are extremley expensive!!) Look forward to getting to know everyone and having some fun Smile x

Welcome to the Forum!
I learned more from one sentence Nick Wolfe spoke to me when he watched me paint at his class. My line work improved immediately and in all areas.
The class was worth it.
The new people in the class spent a lot of time talking about how they never used tear drops in their work and they would never use them.
Practice your tear drops and line work every day for 5-10 minutes a day and you will see immediate improvement in your work.

Welcome to the forum. Fesspenter, that is good advice. Line work takes practice and knowing which brush to choose.
