Recording a CD

Post by Creabella on Sun Nov 11, 2012 3:29 am

Besides facepainting I have another hobby: I play the flute in a marching band. And today we are going to record an album with our newest songs. We play popsongs like Beat it (Michael Jackson), It's raining men (Geri Hariwell), I turn to you (Christina Aguilera) and so on.... I feel quite nervous noe I am about to leave the house and go to the studio. There are some parts in some songs I don't quite fully master yet, and that makes me nervous. But we can't do more than our very best, right???

Well, it took some time, but it's done now. ( started 8 in the morning, and we were done at 6 in the afternoon, pfff!!!!) I feel exhausted! We practically did every song at least 3 times.
Now we have to wait for the result.
The cd presentation will be the 3rd of March, so it's a long wait.
I am so curious for the result.

Creabella - you're going to do FINE. I used to do some theatrical stuff, and never thought I'd get it right until I was actually on-stage. You're trying your best, and that's all you can do. The band wouldn't have you if they didn't think that was good enough - trust them.

You're going to be fantastic. :-)
