my first selfmade rainbow

Post by daphne78 on Wed Nov 14, 2012 5:45 pm

Oke..
Tonight I made a rainbowcake!
Used paints I don't use a lot. It was easy and fast!!!
The "dirt" on the paints is already gone after using it once Very Happy
I used to much water on the sponge so the result is not really perfect, but you can see what it will look like! (And I like it).
All colors are PartyXplosion

It did hurt!!!
But I didn't use the colors, and having 50ml in the pots... I could mis a bit Very Happy
(Also, my money is gone so I can not buy new rainbows, making myself means that I can get what I want but spending no extra money)

I know... I keep thinking about making them all splits and using the other halves for rainbows, it just makes me nervous. They're so pretty in their original little containers. I did mutilate a little snaz party kit... but I'm afraid of chopping the pretty TAG paints. I probably will eventually, it's just getting to that point...

So I made all these split cakes and rainbows, in these bead storage containers. Any suggestions on what foam to use to make a base storage system????

You could chop up a yoga mat for a base?

Everyone starts the same - i couldn't chop mine either THEN you chop that paint and you can't stop - its so much fun!

Congrat's Daphne on taking the plunge!

That looks great, Daphne! Smile I'm another one who can't bear to dissect my paints yet. I'm afraid it might offend them... What a Face
