Clowning 101

Post by amylady222 on Wed Nov 21, 2012 12:37 pm

There are a fw of us that are interested in being clowns---and a few of you that are already amazing clowns.

I know Shannon has a great clowning section on her website---

I opened this thread to discuss anything/everything clowning.

Post your clown face and costume
Talk about props you use or the skits you perform
Talk about where you do your clowning at and how you market it--

So as they say--BRING IN THE CLOWNS--

I thought there were a few on here, but it is an art...so I will just keep reading whatever I can on it and keep plugging away!

I am slowing getting my costum together--I just got some SHOES!

I also have been picking up odds and ends ideas where I can. I found a great slide whisle (with a bird cage on the top--very small) And some fun rings with eyeballs sticking up out of them--so I can "talk" to someone while performing.

I hope to add a few SIMPLE magic tricks and get a few stunts going soon.

I have to laugh cause when I was in High School I signed up for a clowning class and was the ONLY person so they cancelled it--Looks like I am always wanting to clown---even if I am alone!
