I have lifted up my rinse water to take a drink rather than my bottled water. Thankfully have realized before taking a swig.

First post here, hi all!

Welcome to the group, Liz! I've often wondered what my rinse water tastes like (NOT my festival rinse water, my own from practicing).

Have you ever put a brush in your mouth the wrong way? I have Shocked
Went to put the end of the brush in my mouth, to hold while I grabbed another, and whoops there goes the bristles in my teeth. Gotta say it doesn't taste bad, not good either, but maybe a little bit chalky lol

I think I actually do it more often then not. Everytime there is my drink next to my rinse water I dip in my drink.....especialy if it's tea. I could handle it if it was every so often but nearly everytime? I'm such a klutz.
It makes it better knowing I'm not alone in shmutzing up my fluids!
- Shannon got me thinking.... I don't actualy drink alcohol but perhaps it would help my painting if I had a drink or two....hmmmm.... would help my confidence, but is it one of those things where you think it looks great through your beer googles and then when you see the pic's the next day you're like 'what....the....?"

Good heavens, Jennifer, for years I had that too and feel for you - its soo frustrating when I'm painting and forget where I'm going with it or how the design goes.

I pass it off as a senior moment but these moments are coming all tooo often!!!

Must be somethin' in the water....

Speaking of which, the MOST common thing artists do is use their drink for brush cleaning, which is why my coffee is in a covered travel cup, the safest drinking container for artists ; )
