Denise, that is amazing. I was so pleasantly surprised to see you on here. I am such a big fan. I love your YouTube videos and how you bring so much fun to the art of face painting Smile

i ALWAYS test the first petal on my hand.

lol, the kids always say "excuse me miss, who painted that on your hand? excuse me, why did you paint that on your hand"...lol...
but it definitely saves me from drippy or smudgy petals-plus i can see if i got a solid enough load of the second color and a full enough petal shape.

i do this after blending custom colors too...

whenever a kid sits down and says "....ummmm", thatis when i take a minute to reorganize anything i overlooked on my station.

I took a small pill box that is divided into four compartments, and filled it with red, yellow, blue, and purple. This is now my paint I use just for double loading my petal brush.

Happy Painting!
