Where to buy Fardel in the US/ North America

Hi Everyone,

I know we have talked about this before, but I cannot find the original thread- Where can we buy Fardel online in the US without having to resort to having to buy it from the UK?

Also, does anyone have real swatches of the colors? The little tiles I have seen on some of the online color charts are not very helpful.

I don't know... I get mine from the UK.

As for colour swatches... there's no way to show them on a computer properly... but...

I use them a lot so if you want specific examples of specific colours ask and I'll find a photo of them in use.

I was wondering where people get their Fardel online? I'm Canadian, so any tips on this?

And does anyone knows why nobody offers them here?

Problems with the shipping of international orders. There used to be (as in over 5 years ago) several retailers in Canada but the service they were getting from the company and problems with shipping caused ALL OF THEM to drop the product.

There was a company in Quebec - Studio Maquillaz (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) that used to carry it. The last time I saw any it was their site and it was "clearance" stuff only.

Yes! It's Studio Makijaz (www.makijaz.com). This is where I get most of my makeup products at. They don't sell it anymore.

Alcone in New York has lots of Fardel in large sizes. Tghe liquids are 125 ml and cost $30. The creams come in 100 ml 'tubes" FOR $ 29.00. You can go to alcone.com and put Fardel in the search box. There are some colors on ebay right now, March 4, 2012. Th eprices are right, but the colors are limited. Olivier Zegers uses fardel, and finds it the best for shaping after applicaiton.

Note that USA formulated Fardel is different than original aka sold in the UK Fardel.

How come it's different and why? Also, why is Ben Nye so expensive. I use mehron if I can get it. Never tried Krylon or Ben Nye. Skipped Snazaroo because ir dries too fast. A freiend of mine uses Wolfe brothers whinch are pads. But, again, you cannot shade them as well as fardel. I will have to try it. Any one using Wolfe---boy, i'm all over the map today--got new furnitture--sofa and love seat.

Pigments and other cosmetic ingredients can be regulated by the FDA here in the USA. And in the EU cosmetics are regulated by Cosmetic Products Safety Regulation. The standards often vary, so what can be used in one place can not in others. Some companies change their formulations for sales in varied markets.

Wolfe comes in more than pad (appetizers) in comes in 3 sizes of full cakes. And some can shade / blend them very well. All brands have a learning curve. Which makes all brands worth a try to find what you like. Most all face and body painting professionals agree of the brands which ones make the top of the list, they just make not rank them identical.
