Welcome to the Forum, StormyEmbers!
What is the closest town to where you are from!

I live in Toronto and we have a place on Lake Huron just outside Kincardine.

Happy Painting!

Hi Stormy!

I am also from Ontario. Welcome aboard!

Lisa, My in-laws live near Owen Sound - we go there all the time in the summer, we should have a summer beach jam Wink

I painted at the Keady market this summer.
Cost is $27 per day.
You must be there at 5am. Set up before 7am. (If you pay for the whole season, you have a regular stall and you can be set up before 7am is the only requirement. The 5am start time is so you can wait in the line up of vendor cars to be assigned a spot.
There is nobody to face paint upon at 7am. The Mennonite children do not seem to desire face painting. The Keady Market is in full swing around noon. It closes at 2pm. I painted for two hours at full blast. I made my three hour rate in two hours of actual painting. If you count the fact that I got up at 4am in Kincardine to get in line for 5am, this was a 10 hour commitment for $300, not including travel and paint. I spent about $80 in fabulous veggies, meats and some hand made booties for my nephew.
I will continue to visit Keady as a customer, not as a vendor.

Happy Painting!

If you are there visiting, we should see if we can go together. My kids last all of 1 hour there, and then want to leave. I've never been able to see all of the vendors LOL!
