Make-up artist magazine

Nobody talked about this magazine yet, so I thought I should open a thread for it.

It's one of my favorite "overall" makeup magazine. It's not about Facepainting but mostly about movie, special effects, beauty, etc. They always feature current movie makeup so it's very up to date. Lots of interviews with pros makeup artists.

It'd be even better if they'd have more tutorials and include a space for the facepainting artists. Pfff! :p

I used to subscribe.... actually have the first 3 or 4 years worth of them. But stopped as I wasn't finding them as interesting as they were to begin with... to start with the concentration was pretty much film/tv, sfx but they started spending too much time on glamour for my taste.

And I reassigned my "Magazine" money to face/body painting publications instead - subscriptions are expensive!!

I like makeupmag Could be more about facepainting, but I like the mix of movies and print.

So funny I SOAKED UP THIS mag last time I visited Barnes & Noble. Kids and hubby were heading out the door and I was still flipping through loving the inspiration!!!!!

I prefer the magazine Makeup International. The best how tos and some great extreme beauty makeup art.
