FABBULAS weekend! Links to my pics!

I had an amazing time at FABBULAS. Met a lot of you from the forum which was great. I was lucky enough to be in the Wolfe brothers' post-workshop FX class which TOTALLY made my whole weekend...

The photos are fabbulous! Looks like you had great fun, took Pashur's & Mark's classes, but tell us more - complete review about your first convention! Like WHO painted that fantastic Dragon?

I didn't take Pahur or Mark's workshops because I took the Wolfe one, but I got to take some lecture/demo classes, as well as jam with them.

All the pics are captioned and/or tagged with both the person in the pic and the painter's name as well (as long as I knew it).

That amazingly perfect dragon? That is the work of Pashur .

I thought that back looked familiar. Simply Awesome Dragon!!! Lov the scale & eye detail, as well as the shadows!

Shudda known it was Pashur's - is there another album link to more photos???

Ok, Ok, I loved the photos but I gotta know....what's with the spork design? Is there a story behind getting him to paint it on your face?

Linda- Thanks! Except I'm thinking the green was probably an improvement on reality, actually, lol.

Susan - I collect sporks . I have a great spork collection, over 20, big, small, metal, titanium, tupperware, big, small, retractable, miniature, etc.... So when I asked him to paint me, he asked what I wanted and I said make me a spork design...otherwise, use your imagination. And that's what he gave me. The other design I had on was compliments of a NY face painter, Mimi, who is a sweetheart.

I had no idea how tiny you are, you little sporklette, esp next to that tall glass of water in the photo. (With that kind of collection, you should make a pin of one with your name on it) Pashur has great imagination! He, he, next to the beautiful green one, Pashur's may turn out to be your favorite signature design ; D
