Halfass stencils

Post by anniel on Mon Mar 04, 2013 12:17 pm

Anybody got a review on them? Are the designs reduced in size, or is the stencil the same, but the coverage area smaller? Thank you!

I think it is just a smaller coverage area... The actual cutouts appear to be the same.

I like them, they are better for smaller faces IMO but if you plan on using them for a larger area or body painting you may want the regular BAMS instead. You could always just grab a sheet to try...I'm sure you could resell them if you don't like them! Wink

Certainly not the best name in the world for people who haven't heard of the original Badass stencils. Smile I assume "Halfassed" means 'lame' and 'couldn't be bothered' everywhere else? It does here. Very Happy

I find the "Pick Your Nose" books way more yuck than BadAss or HalfAss stencils.

O Nina i wish i would have seen your note before i just ordered the last of the sheet i was missing!!
U got to try them, they are really good for little kids. Just the right shape.
It is unfortunate for the name, i never call them by name and all they have printed on them is BAM and HAS. Smile
It has a number on top either 5001 (design), 5002 (whimsy), 5003 (organic).

I like all of the stencils that I've collected in the BAM series.. i have some 1/2 ones and the whole expansion pack of regular ones. The 1/2's are great for small designs near the eyes, and little kids faces.

Actually, when Andrea introduced them to us in a class we took last fall she seemed pretty tickled about the name. I like the turn of phrase and I can appreciate how something like that would fit so perfectly with her personality. She's cute and edgy and so are the stencils. I know one thing, the name is catchy and even if you don't know about the BAMs you will findout after you discover the HAMs.
