unbelievable

Post by Daphne on Fri Mar 22, 2013 6:45 am

I'm a really clumsy person.

I always fall, hit myself on al sorts of things etc.
I'm always black & blue because of my own fault...

I don't know the prper word but i'm ( in dutch ) LOMP !

3 weeks ago we got a new kitten, and she escaped so I wanted to catch her ..

I took a sprint on my soks in to the dark and missed the kart from my son.......

KABLAF ! I launched myself and landed pretty hard on the tiles in the yard :S

My nails are spilt and there was a lot of blood but hey I thought it was just bruised so I went on with a lot of pain.

But now.....3 weeks later I still cant use my foot properly , so i went to the docter.

She looked en felt , pushed and pulled and i wanted to hit her because of the pain.

She laughed and told me she'll send me to the hospital for an x-ray because she thinks i break something in my foot ...

omg that's soooooooooooooooooo me !

well of we go and hope there's nothing broke....

The word for it here is klutz! And coming from a fellow LOMP, take care of yourself! I broke my toe once when I was about 12 because I went to kick my kickball that was 1/2 covered with snow and found out quickly that it was a bowling ball! Still don't know where the bowling ball came from... LOL! Embarassed I have moments like that to often.

I am a LOMP , klutz Queen. Not a week goes by when i dont have a bruise from walking into furniture and I swear I can trip over air. I broke a bone in my foot when I was young and I didn't find out till weeks later, as i just carried on as usual thinking it was just another twisted ankle.
Hope you heal soon , and keep that kitten inside!!

Dear Daphne:
I hope you get better soon, and your escape artist kitten decides to settle in to your home.

You will never get bruises if you do what I am doing.
I am teaching my furniture to get the hell out of my way.
The table can see me coming.
It should learn to move, or it will get smacked by my thigh.

I have two cats and have learned to do the scuffle shuffle. I rarely lift my feet up when I walk around the house. There always tails and toys in the way. And since they have discovered the kitchen sink, there is now rarely a time when I leave dirty dishes in it. That's great for general staying on top of things. It's awful when you're passed out on the couch after work, then re-awake to go to bed and need to clear dishes before you do. And they're fluffy and fuzzy and noisy and I love them! Hope our ankle gets better soon!
