FP Tip to share! Inspired by the best saleswoman, Mary Kay!
It's frustrating that so many times, even when I'm wearing the company T-shirt and I'm painted, not a word or inquiry comes up when I'm out and about the town.
I happened to get a little keychain clear cube for my daughter in law to display the babies photos and thought it's nice, but the one inch photos aren't very big. Then I remembered Mary Kay's tip to bring attention to consultant's business; before and after makeover photos attached to the keychain as a conversation piece! Yup, I cut up my printed laminated posters and wa-la, instant FP conversation piece of twenty-four photos on my detachable keyring!
I usually plop my keys down on the counter after passing my bank, library or retail store card over the reader so I can enter whatever is needed into the electronic gizmo while the clerk and next in line are checking out the photos.
In the waiting room they get plopped on the coffee table as I sit down, then wander off to sign in and don't find them in the same position I left them and the conversation begins before I get to sit down ; )

I carry them in my jeans pocket with photos hanging outside and love the inquires I get about them ; ) Try it!

I love this!
Isn't it funny how you walk through the mall painted as a tiger and people try to avoid eye contact? Ah well...

I find that all the time! I have had whole bizarre outfits on from work events and people seem to go out of the way to act like it's normal!
Re: FP Tip to share! Inspired by the best saleswoman, Mary Kay!
I don't experience that. But that people either just stare or smile and tell how beautiful it is or ask what the occasion is =)
Re: FP Tip to share! Inspired by the best saleswoman, Mary Kay!
I scare people at drive-thru windows... [sigh]
Re: FP Tip to share! Inspired by the best saleswoman, Mary Kay!
you want to see people avoiding eye contact? try riding the bus in full clown.
Re: FP Tip to share! Inspired by the best saleswoman, Mary Kay!
Perry and Shannon, you're brave! I don't think I could do that!

They have no idea WHO you are when you are done up like that! We used to scare tourists off of Skytrain!! My brother and I would ride into Vancouver to go to Star Trek conventions in full make-up and costume... ah, memories...

I simply laminated 8x10 copy of my display photos, cut em out and super glued them together to make them stiff enuf for kids handling them. Finger prints wipe rite off ; ) I'm glad I had them at the doctors offices I visited yesterday as they were well passed around by the staff!

Could I suggest having your website or company name across the bottom of EACH photo would add to the value of the marketing tool!?
And simply laminate with a cardboard backing (rather than using superglue!)
I think it is a great idea.
