Business & Tax Question

Post by darcia on Mon Apr 29, 2013 12:45 am

I'm not sure if this is a state-by-state deal, but are there any insights into whether or not face painters charge sales tax? Are we exempt? Are there any tips out there for making the business side of things run smoothly? Thanks a lot! By the way, I'm in Washington state.

service isn't taxed at this point. If you were selling something that you passed on to a customer and that you didn't pay sales tax, then yes you much charge. Otherwise you would be taxed twice.
