I do the face painting and my daughter does the glitter tattoos. We set up side by side at a party and let everyone know that they can get either or. Everyone loves them!

Sometimes I sell it with the face painting sometimes I sell it on it's own depending on the event. Lately I have been bringing them out to friends kids when they are having sleep overs just to get them excited about them and let them know they are available. There's a saying you have to give to get and I like to give to me it's like giving an advertising promo that stays with the kid for a few days and becomes a topic of conversation in their circle.I think they will be very popular this year and I am planning a big buy next month.

I made the mistake once of doing glitter tats right next to my face paints, so they got all full of glitter. Also, I think it helps if you have a glitter tattoo on yourself. Some people have a hard time visualizing what they look like.

I'm discovering that it's all about marketing! I have a friend that only does glitter tattoos with stencils (no freehand stuff) and she does great!!! She has a gift of gab and a head for marketing. She gives her cards to everyone and their mother. Not only does she get the business (several corp. clients) her rate per hour is higher than mine and I offer face painting and/or glitter tattoos. She just knows how to work it!

I store my stencils in binders. I put 5-10 of each design in each pocket.

I have a "Look Book" for the kiddos to browse while they are waiting and then I have a matching "Work Book" where I store my stencils.

ok so I made a book - scanned in all my stencils gave them numbers and use the cd case like a file cabinet- works amazingly well- used a few times now and I can leave the book at the far end of the table and ask what number and go into the file cabinet -very good for small sapces.

I was using the binder system with the trading card pockets. I put velcro on the openings and found that the kids were just ripping the pockets.
So, now I am in the process of copying the stencil pics from the website that sells them and then making a poster that is numbered.
I am getting those index file boxes and numbering the cards.

I do tattoos as well as painting. I find that the glitter gets in my paints. Especially on a windy day.
So, now I am setting up a larger table....tattoos on one end and painting on the other.
