paola- thank you, i used split cakes for them so that way i don't have to blend because they blend the colours for me haha, i should probably learn to blend colours together without a split cake but they make it so quick and a lot easier. i wanted to the brush strokes on the first one to be teardrops but they didn't turnout that way but i do like the effect i got from it :-)

I like split cakes!!!!! Wow that is one of those things Jinny calls surprises!! I thought that was the results you wanted to achieve!!! It looks great!!
I was also wandering, green is a very tough color to remove on skin how did you wash it off on the model??
Looking forward to more painting of yours!!! cheers

its a practise head and i haven't took it off yet, they do stain a lot though one of them looks a bit grey now and another one has a bit of an orange tint :-p

Could not think of the name lol!! Getting old!!
I think Erica advised me to clean it with alcohol 90%. I tried but did not get such a clean result! I must have kept the paint on too long. Sad
Now i am afraid to use the practice head in case it stains more! Neutral
I think was Ms Ronnie who suggested a very strong remover (very good), can't remember the name now, i am afraid to use that too as you should be in a very well ventilated aerea! Need more kids around!! My daughter had enough. Very Happy
Let me know if you find anything else! Very Happy

Here we go!

Post by DannyB on Tue Jul 30, 2013 1:08 pm

Hey guys,

Wow I haven't done show and tell in like 25 years... Smile

Thanks for the welcome, I have a few pictures to post of JUST before I found this wonderful website, and maybe a few will come for after I found this website because I can already see I will be making some big changes.

I have been asked to do a Clown theme party, some boudoir photo shoots and I am gearing up to do my first baby bump... So I have been trying to create a design for a little girl named Violet (baby bump), and some lace designs to incorporate into some sexy body painting for the boudoir photo shoots, and then of course some circus stuff...

Baby Bump - on my leg for now

Laces

Circus fun - this will be cheeck to cheeck

And of course my daughter's design, lion through fire hoop Smile

I can't wait to try these designs again with my newly aquired knowledge!!

paola- the green came off and didn't stain and the head i have that is stained grey i sprayed 99% alcohol on and its helping remove it so it doesn't look as bad. i'm not too bothered if they are stained because i can still paint them but i actually got them for hair styling/ cutting, the fact i can use them to practise face painting was an added bonus :-).

danny- i love all the details on the baby bump design and the clowns are amazing (i love circusy things) and your daughters lion is so cute :-)

OMG! I don't think I have ever been so excited for a package to arrive EVER! I am so anxious to try out some one stroke designs and TAG paints!!! I also have been working with really bad brushes and regular dish sponges I can't wait to try out all of these new things!

Here are a few of my latest attempts, I made one 'one stroke' out of my snaz paints, but I had to just clump together three of the easiest to maneuver colors, so I am not very happy with the look, just wanted something to try out a one stroke design with.

This is my one stroke attempt at a tiger - pretty happy with this one Smile

This is another attempt, I am not satisfied with this one so I am very excited to try it again with the new paints - can't really tell they are flowers

This is just some playing around... Lisajoyyoung is amazing and I have tried quite a few of her designs

I am excited to try some one stroke spider mans and cheek art with a rainbow cake once my supplies come in Smile

love it!

Danny, those are really pretty! Always exciting to get new paints! Especially love your LJY cherry blossoms.
Why don't you post them all in the new thread (you can be the first flower ) IF it's not too much trouble, so we can be off to a good start there....I notice Anniel has already said how she likes looking at our pictures (love this supportive place!)

Daphne!!!!!! I have been wondering how you are!
The video starts well for me, but keeps going to an error message Crying or Very sad Then it started again but voice ONLY...which doesn't help me since I can't understand Wink
Please, post it over in the NEW Show and Tell, as this one is "done" already, and people may not be checking this one anymore. Maybe other can see it in full.
Take care!
