Just starting and looking to buy ...

Post by rabbithabit4h on Sun May 12, 2013 6:17 pm

Brand spanking new to face painting and have received a lot of great info and advice (thanks) but, I am thinking maybe the best option might be to see if anyone has any used colors/brands/split cakes etc they either don't care for or don't use etc they might be looking to sell?
I'm on a very tight budget and will be painting faces for our 4H fair pro bono for our rabbit club so I am purchasing everything out of my own pocket as the kids' treasury just can't support it. (the kids are hoping to raise some tips to put towards getting club t-shirts)
I have nothing so am open to trying any brands. Would like at least 50% of product left to make shipping worth while. Thanks in advance.

I dot have any supplies to spare because I'm just starting out too. Just wanted to suggest adding your location to your profile. If people know where you're from and vice versa you may be able to dial down the shipping costs. Best of luck to you!

I have 3 Snazaroo 18 ml orange and light brown $6 each and a sparkling light green $8 and will be listing some more soon when I get back today ; )
At the Jam Kate Karpynska videoed a demo of my kit showing my Snaz paint pallets along with some tips https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I31EBw6v3oA
To get started on a budget, go to Michaels with coupons and get the Snazaroo eight color kit - does lots of faces Wink

Dear rabbithabbit4h:
If you post your general location in your Profile, it may be easier for face painters who are local to meet with you and you can share shipping costs.
