I know a few of you here have worked for Disney World or have buddies how do. If I was interested where would I start?

Thanks!

Enjoy Your Face is the company that has the Florida Kiosks and you could contact them. http://coolartjobs.com/

Pirates League is Disney, and you would apply through WDW Casting. http://wdw.disneycareers.com/en/default/

it might of changed. I don't know. You're also not allowed tips at Disney, and at Universal, only on Halloween Horror nights, Mardi Gras, and a few other after hour events.

I always had dreams of actually working for Disney as a princess character too but really - I think it would kinda suck. I mean it's HOT there in the summer! And then you have to wear the dress and wig and makeup and shoes and... I'm sure you also have to keep your weight in check to fit the part. And all these sticky cranky children hugging you... Yeah I know we paint their faces but I don't usually hug.

Now, Katurah I think you could market yourself as "Better than a theme park!" cause really also you have to paint the designs they have in the way they have them, at least in my experience with working for another company. Actually they weren't that strict on it but I would expect Disney to be pretty picky on it. Also I think they provide all the kits which would save you money but again, you have to work with what they give you.

For me, I am so in love with the freedom that freelancing is affording me. I can change a design when I feel like it if I think it needs it. I can buy Paradise, or TAG, or DFX. I can have 50 bazillion brushes and glitters!!! LOL. But I think your portfolio speaks volumes. Very Happy

ALL that said I do tell people I've worked for XYZ as it can add clout... until they ask "where'd you learn this" and I say "YouTube!" (followed up by just kidding) Very Happy

I was told you have to sign a non-competitor agreement you can't work (doing what they trained you to do) 90 miles radius when you are working for them and before 2 years after you stop, that means you can't not have your own business,.

its true. I only recommend someone who just started painting going to work there, not someone already talented.
