Manager Sal

Post by a face painting mom on Sun Jul 28, 2013 12:25 pm

Just wanted to share. I signed up for ManagerSal last week, was really tired of keeping up with all my paper contracts, worrying that I had not put something into my calendar, it was just getting really hard to manage it all. Saw a recommendation for Mangersal, on another fb page and though it has only been a week, I think I love it. I get my online forms that I can just convert without entering all the information, and it is easy to enter the inquiry information to a contact, without then having to fill out a contract later, you just convert the file from inquiry, to contract, pending, then contract booked, contract paid, and it even keeps track of how much money you made. A Paypal link is integrated into my contracts now, and they can sign, and pay all in one place. It works for me (so far, I like it very much) I know this sounds like an ad, but it is not spam, it really is what I was looking for!Very Happy

I'm confused. Can you explain:
"I get my online forms that I can just convert without entering all the information, and it is easy to enter the inquiry information to a contact, without then having to fill out a contract later, you just convert the file from inquiry, to contract, pending, then contract booked, contract paid, and it even keeps track of how much money you made."

Because I want to understand this...but I'm slightly confused as to what exactly Manager Sal does. You sync it with your phone calendar to see times? Do you send it as a link to a client? Is it part of your website?

TIA.

log on to www.managersal.com, they have some great videos that will explain how it works. The program has a contact form that you put on your website, the client fills it out, and you get an email that you have a new lead. You can take that information and convert it to a contract, which you customize for your business, then you have a link that you send to the client with the contact on it, and you can opt to have a pay pal link on the contract itself, so they can sign the contract and pay the deposit all in one. At that point, you get confirmation that the contract is signed, and you can move the contract to "booked" and sync it with your online calendar. It keeps track of how much money you have made too, which is a bonus, though you do have to enter the cash, checks, and credit card sales you take (that are not pay pal based.)

I really like it.

WOW, that's a real bonus on many levels...less steps & easy tracking for taxes to name a few. Thanks Martha.

just noticed too, as I add events, it gives you a visual list of how much money you are going to be making, which is nice to not need to go through paper contracts to run the numbers. Taking some getting used to, the order that you have to click on what tab, but all in all, I like it!

Does it send you an email that lets you know there is a lead coming in? I think it's a great idea. I don't like the contact form on my site.

Yes Denise, you configure the contact form that is on your site, people fill it out, and you get an email with their info. Then, and this is the part I like the most, you click on the lead in manager sal, and can fill in more information about the party, convert all that info to an event, then...you can generate a contract using that same information, send them a link, and the pay pal payment is right on the same page. Then...you can use that very same information to link to your on line calendar, I use google, so it is all entered on the correct date...THEN...you can generate a thank you note, an invoice, a past due statement, a receipt...AND you save their contact information so that you can go back next year and contact them.
So many good things! And you only enter information one time. If they call you, you pull up manager sal, go to add a contact, fill in the information. Save it as a contact, you can use the contact later, or make a pending event, an inquiry, several designations (I like this too, because I can seldom remember from day to day what the person wanted...) And, if they decide to book, you have the information ready. I like it.
