@lufiszobor I love the uplighting you chose for Spider-man's web, usually I choose downlighting. Unique decision.
I was at an all-out superhero birthday party ... man some parents just waste their lives I swear . .. but anyways one dad was game to get painted for Captain America! I was pretty happy with it.

Here is my "Wild Cat" One-Stroke design I came up with. Trying to get super quick full face designs for variety for parties and fairs.

Next is the same technique, but realized to make it look like a bunny I need the ears to go bit further down the side of the face.

Thank you Nikkili:) I haven't had the chance to do the arm on kids at a party. But then again I never put it on the board..haha. I did do a zebra patch on the arm though 2 months ago for an adult to match her outfit.

Re: Show and Tell #5 August - October 2013

Post by daphne78 on Thu Aug 29, 2013 3:19 am

Paula, this is a great rainbow face..
And seeing it... you really have to ad some blue teardrops "falling" out of the right (think your left?) cloud. I can picture it.... that will be very popular..
(hmmmmmmm, grrrrrr, have to change my rainbow I think, I like the sun there.. and then with rain... yeah!!!, makes me happy)... light blue with a lot of glitter... yeah.
(oké, imagine me.....dancing around my livingroom, towards my kit... get sum water and paint paint paint... whahahaha)

Natasha, easy way to improve this butterfly without changing much... lower the wings, and start the lower wing in the outer eyecorner as a different part of the wing, not just a different color, and use the blackoutlining from that lower wing to create the curl, try to start that curl in the corner of the wing, not at the bottom (in this case, the bottom is not a corner..) Hope you understand what I mean. It sounds maybe like a lot, but it's just a movement of what you already did. I like the how do you call it.. the antenna's?? That shape is really nice and effective, you don't miss the body at all!! (I really just saw the body's not there watching the butterfly for the third time, so that's a goooood thing!!!)
And the Pirate.. only thing to ad, is some "lines" as folds (again.. don't know how to write it) like in a real bandage that you wear. Pirates are really fun to do, easy, quick and you can vary on the style of bandages (girl or boy).

All the others, sorry I don't do the comments and compliments like Paula, not that I don't like it, but if I start commenting I wont stop, and then my morning (in the Netherlands it's morning) is over... And I want to do some spinning.
