TAG, Your it. A Fun Game for All!

Post by Metina on Fri Jan 01, 2010 8:34 am

I found the game idea on a balloon forum and it seems like it could translate pretty well.

It is called TAG! You've just been Challenged.

Rules: Once you have been challenged to make a face design(cheek, half or full face), you have to post a pics of your creation, after which you have to TAG someone else specifically on the forum to make a new design... You may not tag anyone who has just been tagged, we should tag others out there too... there is a minimum interval of three TAGs between TAGs so that we can encourage others to join in too... . I know this may take each person a day or two to come up with something, but the person SHOULD acknowledge that he or she was tagged.

I think we could get this to last all year! No step by steps required, but simple directions would be greatly appreciated for all. GAME???

I TAG ... Shannon to do Lady Bugs.

'
Lady Bug...
Mutated with a tiger ... obviously the lady bug is dominate genetically speaking.

This was done for a challenge in Olivier's online face painting game several years ago - circles were the design feature, it was a lady bug/tiger mutant, had to use orange and pink, with silver...

Pretty sure it is Kryolan pink and orange and Wolfe black and silver... done with a sponged base and #6 round kolinsky sable.

I TAG.... LONE to paint a Pushmi-Pullyu, full-face (animal from Dr. Dolittle - a head at each end - but you only need to paint one face. In the movie it was a llama but in the book is referred to as "deerlike")... this is for purely selfish reasons as I am trying to get this design done for nect Monday's dress rehearsal!!

Shannon, I accept. Even though I have never heard of the animal before *lol*. Think I will try two versions, one with the two faces on and the other only one face.

The whole animal. Hard to photograph, but fun to paint =) My head-only version looked like a mix between a cougar and a dog, so I will make a new one tomorrow. It is to late now.

Shannon, I like the walrus around the mouth of the ladybug =)

Absolutely awesome!! The two-headed version is wonderful and so expressive!! And the full face one is PERFECT!!!

I am doing a test paint on Thursday for photos for the make-up crew so thank you for doing it right away!!

Now to go create a version of it on paper - in the colours required for the show!!

Shannon, happy you like it. Hope you will post pictures of the result.

And Jennifer, can't wait to see what you come up with. I find carnivorous plants really fascinating, but haven't found a good idea yet to use in facepainting.

Yep.... I immediately thought of Audrey as well, but I went and did some researching. I learned all about active and passive carnivorous plants. I found the answer to an interesting question: Would vegetarians eat a carnivorous plant? No: 1, there are bits of undigested bugs in them, and 2, none of them are edible. I decided My plant eats painted butterflies and spiderguys, and just so happens to blend in with a head scarf I own. So, Here she is:

So, I tag Lady Jayde and hereby challenge her to paint herself (hahahaha). Okay, Paint whoever you want, and the theme is: Aliens.
