Shannon Fennell

Hiya All

I've been asked by Shannon Fennell to pass out a message to all chat forums/google groups etc so say that she won't be around for a while, either by forum or email (unless it is very urgent).

Shannon's Mom, June, had a stroke yesterday morning and is now in ICU. Shannon's not up for calls right now either and has asked that any calls etc, are held off for a couple of days so she can steady herself. I know quite a lot of you have met Shannon and June at various conferences, conventions and jams etc and will want to know updates etc, and I'll post updates as I receive them from Shannon.

In the meantime I know we'd all like to wish Shannon well and a speedy recovery to her Mom.

Hi All

Just to update you as promised, Shannon's Mom was moved to the main ward in the hospital today and she is now waiting to see physio and speech therapists. She's had a scan on her back as this was bad apparently prior to her stroke and this has shown a compressed disc in her spine which will also need to be looked at. Shannon has been told of all your kind messages and thoughts and prayers and she asked me to pass on a heartfelt thank you to you all for thinking of her. She's understandably been so upset as she and Mom are so close. As soon as I hear more from Shannon, I'll post up and let you all know.
