Classes in NY for 2010

Not sure of this is the right place for this so sorry in advance if its not!

We would love to have anyone in the Tri-State area join us for meetings, jams & networking! We are a small guild but growing every day. Once you join us you get a discount card to great places like Silly Farm, Pearl Paint, Utrecht, ATT Wireless, and registration to certain conventions. If you sign up under our guild for FABAIC you get a $25.00 registration discount & 10% at SillyFarm Table and any other merchants that are participating. You can also compete with us in the first ever Battle of the Guilds!

We have some great things lined up for 2010!
Wolfe Face Art & Fx Jan 34 &24 there is MAYBE 1 spot left in each day so if you are interested please let me know fast!

I am also in discussions with Christina Davison to do a 2 day workshop in June so I am asking anyone who may be interested in that to let me know as she has to travel far & we want to make sure there is enough interest. This is looking like a June workshop.

The same thing for a Workshop with Christopher Agostino..if you are interested let me know!

Hi..where are you located? We are trying to arrange some meetings in other location in NY..just need a host really, especially for Manhattan where the rooms would be very costly to rent. Our workshops that are 2 days are usually worth the travel & overnight for. We are actually having Annie Reynolds from Australia here on June 7th & 8th.

What about buffalo NY???

Buffalo is a bit far for us to travel for a meeting or jam but if you have a group of people wanting to meet there and have a space to host it...sign up & I will totally promote it for you.....you are certainly more than welcome to come and join us for weekend events though...you can also get all the discounts we have to offer our guild members...

PS.The amazing Annie Reynolds from Austrailia is due to come to Long Island for a 2 day class Mon & Tues June 7th & 8th. Cost is $300.00 for both days and we only have a few spots left.

Are there any face painters conventions in New York? (long island)? i am new and starting out to face painting as a business so i think a convention would be a great way to see up close.

Okay, is there a website or a general listing of conferences, workshops etc. It seems like the time the information hits this forum, it's too late.

I live in WI and would be willing to travel to attend some of the activities but would need some time to save money and make arrangements for my kids (and husband ) I know about Fabiac and is La Fete every year?

Is there anything that goes on in the Chicago area? I am aware of the Jams that are in Schaumber Il once a month, but Tuesday nights are nearly impossible for me to get away.

I'd love to go, I've only ever traveled directly through New York, but never stopped and appreciated it - that's something on my to do list. I'm planning to spend news years there one year very soon.
