Ahh... Balloons..... my first love. Unfortunately, a few months after I created the sleigh, my latex allergy got the better of me and I had to give up balloons. It was fun while it lasted! Very Happy

I do 15-25 balloons per hour... but I've been doing them for about 2 years now. I also stress the wow factor of bigger balloons.. they aren't really harder to make and they are way more awesome.

I would also recommend giving your Ariel a torso so that she's not all head and tail.

As for what 3-60's and 1-60's to get.. just get a few bags of the assortment colors... a bag of carnival 1-60's and a bag of the fashion assortment 1-60's.... same for 3-60's... then you'll see what you use the most and what you don't.

Has anyone ordered from balloonmerchant.com? I have ordered from btydirect.com and tmeyers which both were just fine!!

Need to order more!! I want some bee bodies and more 160's!

Here is a pic of my most recent little creation. Purple dragon with a pink wings on a wand! The little girl loved it!!!

I am mainly thinking for accents, but the 360 for the rose in the glass effect. Have you seen it? Super neat!

I've just tried the rose and I can't do it!!!!! The clear balloons either popped or got 'stuck' on the rose. I'll have to keep trying ...

wow those are great. I can't quite get just ripping the partially inflated balloons when you use only a part of it...it takes longer to cut and everything. Does anyone have suggestions? I feel like things take forever, and kids are sooo much more grabby with balloons

Get a letter opener like this http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?CatIds=3%2C3707,26&webid=16446&affixedcode=WW

you can cut with the blade and pop with the point. Milk bag cutters work too, but don't have the point for pop twists. The ones I use have a little hole in the plastic that I put on a ring attached to a retractable cord on my balloon apron so it's always handy.
