Attacking a sleeping child

Post by Morninglory on Tue Jul 22, 2014 8:05 am

So my 4 year old fell asleep on his back, so I took advantage of the situation! I painted this upside down but all in all I feel good about the end result.

I can't remember who showed this onestroke concept for spidie(read my copycat attempt), but I love the effect! I just need to work on doing this on a child that is awake and twitching.

cool idea about the split cake! He might let you paint him while he is awake now he looks so happy.

Are you open to suggestions?

Yes always open for suggestions.

I think the eyes are a bit wrong, I think they need to point out to the sides more.

Anything you add will be taken well, I am a true beginner and always want to hear how I can improve!Smile

I think Spiderman is one of the hardest characters to do. I think it has to do with the amount insane amount of simplistic details. I think less is more with this character.

If you ever get a chance, petal (butterfly) sponges are amazing for spiderman eyes.
