Quick One Stroke Spiderman Face Painting Tutorial

Post by Giggle Loopsy on Mon Aug 18, 2014 3:15 pm

Hi all!

I uploaded a new YouTube tutorial today of a Spiderman face painting design–but with a catch.   Very Happy

I'm using a new one stroke technique that makes applying the design WAY faster!  My little model, Gavin, just turned three and he's a wiggly little guy.  I've been using this technique for a while now at events and it saves me so much time!

Hope you enjoy.  =)

Awesome! I would love to see what you come up with when you're done! =)

The whole one stroke idea is a huge time saver.

This is neat. have you ever tried adding a white stripe on the other side so it gets a white shadow at the same time too?

Thanks Tasha! I LOVE little Gavin. He's my neighbor's child, but I get to babysit frequently. It's awesome! =)

Hi Kal,

Yeah, I made it myself using TAG, Diamond FX Red, and TAG Red.  Since the Diamond FX red has a little orange in it, it gives it some nice variety.  Plus it's super fun to make your own cakes!  =)

I actually wrote a blog post about recycling cakes and making your own.  You can check it out by clicking here if you like.  Smile

I did try that and it made pink when the red and the white touched. It didn't look as good, unfortunately.  Rolling Eyes

But you could make a black Spiderman with white highlights, or a pink Spiderman (girl) with purple highlights.

Split cakes are SO much fun!
