Dark Pink Sponges

Post by sarahralva on Tue Sep 16, 2014 7:06 pm

Does anyone know if the pink sponges at Jest Paint are the same exact dark pink sponges sold at Silly Farm?

Yes they are both the Always Wicked sponge.

My favourite sponge in the whole wide world is the
Fantasy World Wide Sponge. It is green. I like it better than the Always Wicked.
I adore the small teardrop shaped Always Wicked sponges. They are perfect for small faces. They do not last as long through my system of sanitizing in my front loader and drying on high heat in the dryer. I have had my FWW sponge, and I have only retired a few. The Always Wicked sponges only last five or six times through the cycle before they start looking ratty around the edges.

Thank you!!! Had a hard time getting anyone to answer!

I'm surprised you like the FWW better, they look more porous than the AW??? So I would think, application wise, they wouldn't give as good of coverage as the AW.

I feel both give great coverage. FWW feel only a tiny bit softer in my hand. I do not feel the actual difference upon my face when I press each sponge on my eyes.

I love them both.
They each have their specific uses.

I will try that once I get another batch.
I am disappointed at how dingy the pink sponges turned quickly. I dyed them black to cover the dull look to them.

after i posted, it occurred to me you might come back with something along the lines of "i don't want to have to run my dryer all the time, between laundry and face painting supplies" lol

Oh no... it is FUN to run the washer and dryer and sit on them.

Maybe this is too much information.
Do not read the above message.

Dear Fessy,

That sounds delightfully naughty.

Especially if the setting is Heavy Duty Wash....
