My Name is Jen, and I'm a Chocaholic

Post by JBax on Sun Jan 31, 2010 11:56 pm

I just wanted to share.

Linda Adams is an Evil woman, who poses as a super friendly very talented painter. She sent me some Lindt chocolate goodness with the soft chocolate center wonderfulness. "Psst, hey little girl. You wanna try some of this? I'll give you the first one for free."

As society has brought forth methadone for heroin addicts, Hershey's has brought us Bliss to help with the maintenance from Lindt addiction. God Bless Hershey's. Fine town, fine makers of chocolate.

Jen,

I've been on and off the wagon several times in the past few years. I give it up for 8 months to a year and then I go on a bender! I'm currently back on a bender after a few months of abstinence. I feel your pain!

I went to Norway last June to my cousins wedding and came home with several 'huge' Freia chocolate bars to give as gifts...no one got them. I ate them all! It's the best chocolate ever.

If they ever come up with a 12 step program for chocolate, please let me know. Ack!

I just ate two original Lindor balls, a square of Lindt and a Bliss square.

Managed to avoid stores altogether after Halloween (I'm a sucker for a sale!), but I didn't fare so well after Christmas. On top of the chocolate that always seems to be around, during the holidays, I also failed when going to the store...I'd pick up some discounted wrapping paper, some Christmas cards, and bags and boxes of chocolate.

This is why I work out, right? So I can eat chocolate?

Don't even get me started with chocolate...dark chocolate (with raspberry or caramel filling) is my vice!

Lindt also makes "Intense Pear." If you ever come across it, cause it's hard to find, try some. Most people think... super dark chocolate, pear, and almond slivers? It's amazing!

But... I did want to share the wonderful, but not quite as addicting as the Lindt truffles, Bliss. It's good, at Walmart, and 75 cents at the checkout.

Krystal works out... I have middle schoolers. We all earn our chocolate somehow.
