Our first Jam was awwesome!
Hi Guys!
I just wanted to report that the first official Jam session of the North East Ohio Facepainters was awesome!
We had ladies coming from over an hour away just to play with paints at an area Friendly's restaurant! This months activity was the cammouflage painting, I got the idea from one of google groups I belong to. While it was a fruitless attempt to get all of the ladies to paint, 4 out of 8 of us did attempt it, and it was such an awesome experience! Here are some pictures:
This was done by Jan Hill from the UK:

This was done by Marjorie Funk of Canton OH

This was done by yours truly, though I borrowed Suzan Houstan's hand because, as coordinator, I couldn't sit and paint in one fell swoop, she volunteered her hand since she didn't have a chance to stop and get her paints from home...and so she could eat her sundae...

And this is the NE Ohio Facepainters...or at least some of them...there are more...

Back (Right to Left): Karen, Jan, Gwen, Luise, Marjorie
Front: Suzan, Me, and Joy (Suzan took my brush from me because I didn't want to stop painting for the picture)
I can't wait till next months meeting...I guess I better get on it? I'm really liking this! I've already formulated a newsletter and a blog for the group...hopefully, oneday we'll become a guild...
