We're supposed to get 7-10" on the Mississippi Gulf Coast through the night! All businesses, schools, etc are closed because we can't function with snow- no sanding trucks or snow plows or snow chains for the tires... my kids are sooo excited!

You all got our snow. They've had to make snow out here in western Canada for the Olympics. It's been the warmest winter in over 30 years I think.

ok, so they are calling for (maybe, it's not even a definite) 1" of snow tonight....maybe just a dusting.
I just got back from the Walmart because I had to buy some Flourescent plant light tubes for my orchids.....and guess what?

There was NO milk, NO eggs, NO bread!
Either everyone here in North Carolina thinks that they'll be snowed in for days with 1" of snow, or everyone decided to make French toast at the same time! ROFL!~

Here, too, Lisa! Literally 5 minutes ago. We all stayed up all night watching to see if the rain would turn and it finally did. Now I'm so tired I don't think I can stay up to watch it LOL!

Ya'll crack me up! I still haven't dug my car out from the first snow (I lost my keys the Saturday before my birthday and just found them yesterday). Whoever wants to clean my car off can keep the snow!

Well, the snow here lasted all of an hour. The sun is out now, and it is getting warm. Nothing stuck at all. Alas, no snow ice cream for us.... :-(
It was pretty while it was coming down though.

What Shocked !! Staying up all night to watch snow!!! That's a new one!! lol

We had our first blast of winter in October and we'll probably still have snow end of March.

Yep- you got it, Lisa! I think this is only the 3rd time my youngest daughter has ever even seen snow- and the second time was just at Christmas when we were in Dallas for a white Christmas! But somehow, it's different when it's at your own house. We stayed up all night and it ended up only snowing for about an hour, but it was huge flakes! Here's a pic I took of my son and youngest daughter standing out in the snow...
