Experience with Global One stroke?

Post by JennVenn on Tue Jan 13, 2015 8:15 am

Hello all! I love one stroke painting and have created many of my own homemade splits using Tag paints that work well. My only problem is they start to run thin quickly and I have to go over my work several times to get good coverage. This can becomes such a time waster. I was wondering if Global paints were more opaque in their one stroke application? I have a few paints and love their color and consistency and wanted to know if I should cut them up to create what I need. Thank you in advance Smile

I love Global One Strokes!
They have vibrant, opaque coverage.
They wear evenly...
I do not find that the colour in the middle wearing down a lot faster than the ones on the sides.

The Base Blenders are also excellent.
I ADORE Global India... SO vibrant.
Little girls who want pink & purple choose Global Oxford.

I am addicted to Global Dark Blue, and Global Purple. They will always have a 'forever spot' in my kit.

Thank you so much fesspenter! I was hoping that their one strokes were good because I enjoyed their regular colors so much. I will have to invest in some more colors to create the splits I like to use. I will look at Global Oxford too Smile

My favorite Globals (that I also buy for workshops) are Iceland, Mexico, Taupo & Paris. I also like Kalahari, Borneo and Bavaria or Venice (similar but one has darker regular colors)

I would start with those 4 and I heard it through the grapevine that there will be more combos coming. I make my own too. They are a little pain to make cakes but they wear really well and are really easy to use.
