What do you do with your empty containers?

Post by Lady Jayde on Fri Feb 12, 2010 10:24 am

Hi Guys!
I have accumulated a nice pile of empty Snaz containers, but I have no idea what to do with them. Most have the little plastic insert still in, so I suppose paint could be put in them...but that's not my 'thing'. What do you guys do with your empties? I'd hate to throw them away, but as it stands, they're just taking up space...

Recycle the Snaz 18ml containers... I mean, put them in the plastic recycling bin. They aren't good for much. The 30 and 75 ml containers are reuseable though as they have some depth and a good lid.

I reuse all the other brand containers for either making split cakes, making new colours (mixing my own), beads, pins, nozzles for my glitter applicator bottles, etc.

I keep my empty Paradise and Wolfe containers and refill them with any Snaz or Kryolan I may have, or use them for split cakes or custom colors.
I keep the empty Kryolan containers for storing small things. I keep the 30ml and 75ml Snaz containers for holding small things as well.
And I recycle (or toss if not recyclable) the Snaz 18ml containers.....they are just junk IMO

Good ideas Shannon! I will take that into consideration when my containers are empty Smile

Well... ahem...
When you were here to kick my butt into shape it didn't hurt nearly as much as when you weren't here...I guess I'd gotten used to it... now I'm getting mentally flabby again...

Jennifer, I keep telling you that any attempts of "sexy-mama-cita" walking on my part results in things being knocked off tables and uncanny butt shaped dents in the walls. In fact...I think I hurt something just THINKING about walking sexy. Ooh..I think I feel a cramp coming on...

I'm with Shannon .....the old Wolfe black ones with the clear lids are the ones I like....I never have liked their clear ones that screw together.

I only have the clear ones - are the black ones sturdier?

I would hope so, sometimes I get the clear ones already cracked, but I move them to the blue snaz pallates anyway. They're just so awkward-shaped to use for anything else, and I already have organizers for my other projects.
