Anyone have experience with this paint.... good, bad, or ugly?

I used to use them all the time, in stick form. I don't use them anymore, as the volume of painting I do has increased and I needed something a lil more. I used them when I first started out painting years ago. They were easy enough to use and gentle on skin.

In fact I still have some that my daughter uses

Thanks Criss. I heard about a fellow in Lethbridge who was selliing face paint and when I enquired he said he was selling that brand. I was under the impression that they were cakes.....maybe that brand has both cakes and sticks.

They are the crayons... I actually have a package, unopened, that I use as a prop when teaching. I've had it for about 15 years.

Never used them... but they are face paint so you could use them with a brush - as in load your brush on the crayon or smoosh the crayon into a container...

From what I had hear a couple of years ago, Johnny Brown was not going to be in production anymore. You might wanna check that out, see if your getting old stock.

They are in the Ben Nye catalogue here http://www.bennyemakeup.com/image/2007_BNC_Catalog.pdf
on page 31...

So I guess they are still available.
