Wolfe Metallic Rose vs. DFX metallic red?

Can anyone tell me....is there much of a difference between the Wolfe Metallic Rose vs. DFX metallic red? How do they compare???

It is my understanding that they are the same, but the Wolfe name is more appropriate. It is def. not a metallic red, but that would be really cool.

BUT, DFX is now coming out with a metallix fushia that I have on order. It will compare the DFX metallix red and fushia and report back when it comes in. It would be so sweet if the red is now red and they just changed the old red to fushia, but am not sure.

I have also posed this question to the US distibutor.

BTW...Wolfe has a fushia also....and it is more pink so I wonder if DFX will be the equivalent.......hmmm.....

Yes, it is more pink. I just received a demo pic form the distributor. She hopes that a true red is in the works as well.

I have ordered the baby blue, copper, fushia and black and can't wait to get them.

The green is Metallix Oxidized Bronze. It looked pretty sickly in the product photos, so I passed. Wish I had seen the demo as this and the Old Gold color look sweet! Next order I guess.

Here were the pics of the two I didn't order. Didn't look as lush in the container. Shows how invaluable product demos are I guess.

Being metallix, it darn well better! I am sure it does, though the demo doesn't really show the sheen. I will ask her if she can maybe do a demo of only the black to show.

If you look really close, you can see a bit of sparkle on the very left edge.......but a better demo would be nice, too! LOL!!

The new ones are great! The copper and old gold are like the Kryolan Interferenz copper and bronze, but without the bad smell... The baby blue is lovely and I have ordered some extra for an event with Thomas the train. The bronze I am in love with, even though I have not found a specific use for it yet (except for eyeshadow for myself). The black I am still looking forward to receiving =)

looking at gold vs old gold, the different shades of blues and greens etc - unsure as to whether I should get the palette or single colours.

I have to agree... the DFX met. red isn't that red at all... kinda pinkish really. But then, I'm not too pleased with the normal red either that came in my essentials pallete... it's more scarlet or a red orange. I like the wolfe red much better, now that's a RED! I also like both wolfe an DFX gold, but the DFX colors seem smoother to me for some reason... idk, that's just my humble opinion, I know the two are supposed to be the same.

I have the met red /met baby blue / petina / old gold / met green / met yellow/ met white / met black/ met blue and met violet.

I do wish the met red was a true red but I still like it. I love the met colors and the met white and met black are very nice
