What does your princess look like?

Post by Megan in slc on Thu Feb 18, 2010 4:32 am

So I was taught to do a princess when I first started but I don't really think it works. What does your princess look like?

Here is mine. I usually add blush, lipstick, eyelashes and simplify the jewels but this picture was just too cute : )

Princesses vary with me... sometimes the "princess" tells me what she wants. Sometimes it is just a shimmer all over with some eye details, sometimes a crown with eyes/cheeks/lips done...

Depends on the girl as well. If they have a big forehead or a little forehead? Are they really girly or do they like dragon flies? They are all a bit different, because of each individual child and what they like.

I recommend the Fairy Princess book by Marcela Murad ... at least for ideas. I do a few different crowns but most of them are pearls or tear drop jewels with something in the center, then some little swirls at the corners of their eyes. Dragonfly, butterfly, hearts, jewels, fairy, whatever...

Something like this. Maybe with a crown - also made with tear drops - or flowers.

No ma'am, that there's Kryolan Interferenz Silber and Silver Green (or Green Silver...or something). I love it because it gives such a sheer base to everything but it isn't overwhelming or heavy.
