Do you ladies know if his course is good for beginners? Or do you feel it would be very overwhelming to a newbie lol

Yeah....I don't know where he starts as far as the workshops go, but I do know he's very beginner friendly.

Cher, looks like these listings are from a year ago. I don't see any new upcoming workshops on Sean's site. www.bravobodyart.com
But if you hear of any, let us know!!

I don't think it would be horribly confusing for a beginner, you'd be sure to gain something from any workshop as a beginner, but you may find that something with the Wolfe brothers or Marcela Murad went more step by step? Sean kind of jumps straight into full blown designs and you take from it what you can.
BTW, Fabtastic, your new butterfly picture is looking nice

Re: Clowns Canada face painting workshops with Sean Avram
In case anyone is still wondering, I took a class with him last weekend. I started facepainting last November and his was the first workshop ever that I took. I must say I was very unsure if I would fit in as a beginner, but he is really good in making everyone feel good about what they do and he gives individual tips too. We were all at different levels with our painting skills and he gave everyone tips that were usefull for each one individually to get to the next level, whichever that is. At least that's how I have perceived it. It was a fun workshop and I've certainly got a lot out of it.
Everyone of us painted and got painted. He also asked if there were any designs in particular we'd like to see/learn and as that was the case he gave us examples and tips on those too.
I must say I had a good time and the price is very reasonable compared to some of the other workshops. :-)

Yeah, I heard about that one too late... the price certainly was right! Sounds like it was good.
Thanks Perry, of course all I see are the flaws but overall I'm pleased with it. I was so happy that I finally had an opportunity to take a few pics!
