Hello from Georgia!

My name is Dixie. Been face painting for almost a year. Love it! I have recently expanded my interests and started doing henna tattoos also. I'm on the cusp of really pushing my business (which I call Daydream Designs). I drive a school bus for my "I'm a responsible, grown up" job and so far face painting has been my "I'm too young to be old" way of making some extra money. But I'm wanting to change that. So this summer I'll be a marketing fool!!

I'm 35 years old and married to my high school sweetheart. We have two kids, a girl 5 and a boy 4. (just the right age for practicing on.....they never get tired of me painting them)

Welcome to the forum!!! It's a good one.... ha ha ha not that I'm biased!!!

Keep up the painting enthusiasm with those kids - mine never want me to paint them unless there is a bribe involved or their friends are being painted and they feel left out!!!

Do you bribe???? inquiring mind.....

LOL, I'm with Wyndy! Mine are 7, 2, & 1. The 7yr old has to be in the "mood" to be painted. How crazy is that? But anytime the 7yr old gets painted the 2yr old wants his painted too. I guess it's somethin!

Anyway, welcome to the group! I'm new but have found that there are a great bunch of peps here!!

Hi and welcome to the group.
I think my 4yr old lasted about 6 months of painting every other day before she called time out.
Now I can paint her if i want to paint what she wants...... I'm really over practising my princess's and butterflies.
Lucky I have my ever patient hubby!
