Got a BIG parcel today!!

Post by Shannon Fennell on Thu Feb 25, 2010 4:18 pm

I ordered my supplies for the Games two weeks ago and my parcel arrived today - BIG parcel with almost a grand worth of DFX/Wolfe/brushes/glitter/etc....

So much fun to open and count things!! Particularly when it is reimbursable!!!

However... you'd think there would be MORE of it for the price of it!

Ordered from Dotsy's in Toronto... they are great about getting it to me and sourcing things that they don't have in stock.

I order from within Canada as Customs is to bloody unpredictable for something with an actual hard date. They can hold things up for a month sometimes!

Packages are so much fun! It blows me away why it isn't easier and cheaper for Canada and US to ship to each other!

I buy on eBay quite a bit and if I accidently leave my home 'Canada' address in the documentation it takes up to 2 months to get a delivery for what takes 2-4 days to my friend's house in WA state 20 minutes from my house! That's some serious administration back log in customs if you ask me! I'm so glad my friend moved across the border Very Happy I've had to explain to a few border guards what a 'playdate' is though.
