Did I miss something with BN paints ?

I just got some Ben Nye face paints on sale at a local shop and then I realized that no one here seems to be using them. Have I missed something ? The colors are gorgeous and they demoed everything for me. Seemed easy to use, nice bright colors, great coverage. Any input guys?

ben nye products are awesome; i use them for my theater makeup class. but then again, it all depends on the effect you are trying to achieve, so as long as what you're using is FDA compliant and is meant to be used on skin, to each his/her own!

The Magicolor cakes? They are not that common or readily available. They've been around for years and I tried them about 8-9 years ago - bought nine cakes in the most beautiful colours but they were TOTALLY useless - I traded them away for glitter gel.

They seem to be working better now so maybe they've changed the formula...

Do they work for you? If so, great. They are just water activated make-up like the rest of the brands.

would be nice if they changed the formulae, the old cakes I demoed at work were weak.

Oh OK. They work great and I was impressed with the coverage. The majority of my "victims" are darker skinned so I need a little more to make the colors pop.
